Welcome to the website for UTD MAVS, the Multi-Agent Visualization Systems Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Our mission is to apply software engineering best practices to the development of large-scale multi-disciplinary software projects on challenging research topics appealing to both academia and industry. As forerunners in the field or software engineering, our lab is currently focused on applying the agent paradigm, using multi-agent systems, to reveal an entire new dimension to our understanding of very large and complex problems. With the help of state-of-the-art tools we are able to engineer solutions to solve these problems. It is our goal to continuously provide fresh perspectives on problem modeling accompanied by innovative solutions to address these problems. We hope that our efforts will lead the field in adopting the agent paradigm and allow us to address a new class of problems that reflect the growing needs of our society.
